In Summer 2011 we were commissioned by this client to design an extension to their home in Chiswick, London.
Design
The house is a semi-detached period property in Chiswick requiring modernisation. Working with the client we produced a number of options for consideration including a 3 storey lightwell through all floors, these were then taken forward into the final design. The existing poor quality conservatory is being demolished to construct a new open-plan kitchen and dining area leading towards the garden, with a long strip rooflight overhead. Upstairs includes general improvements to the layouts including new stair location, new bathrooms and finishes generally.
